 Magnolia Cottage,  located at 35 Homochitto Street, was built around 1831.  It is considered as one of Natchez's important Landmarks.  Executive Director of the Natchez Historic Foundation travels around the country and lectures on the broad range of Natchez's architecture.  He mentions Magnolia Cottage is a prime example of the integrated architecture.  The front porch is almost like a room with its three sides, space for door and glass transom.  Magnolia Cottage has it's own dairy in the basement of the house.
